"Italo Waves and the song 'Buona Sera' is a tribute to italo disco and the glorious 1980s, and it's also thank you to the fans, the artists and the DJs who keep this fabulous scene alive. In addition, it is our contribution to a world that needs solidarity, love and a great fun retro party song. Long live the italo family!"
It all started as a joke, and ended up in a fun production, made out of 13 individual vocal recordings (many of them recorded in a cell phone) by a line of italo fans and djs, all with one thing in common - that they'd never done anything like this before.
